Standard Furniture Sizing Guide
Dining Tables: Typically 28" to 30" high (ideal for standard chairs and people 5'8" to 5'10").
Benches / Coffee Tables: Usually 18" to 19" total height from floor to seat.
Counter Height: Typically 34" to 36" high.
Bar / Pub Height: Typically 40" to 42" high (pairs with 28" to 30" bar stools).

We don't ,but we use top quality paints and prep..steel before painting with extra care,my legs are paint 3 times so material is cover thick with paint and well protected.
